Lifestyle Travel + Scuba

Dive by day.
Have better stories by night.

We’re Hugh and Judy. We organize and join lifestyle-friendly trips where scuba is part of the adventure... from Hedonism II in Jamaica to Hawaii and French Polynesia.

You do not have to be a diver. Some people come for the scuba, some for the destination, some for the people... and some wisely stay in bed while the divers are eating breakfast.

Swinger Scuba Trips

Adult-Only Lifestyle Dive Vacations

Welcome to Swinger Scuba Trips. We offer adult-only scuba vacations for couples and singles who enjoy exploring reefs and meeting like-minded people.

Whether you're a couple, a curious single, or an experienced diver, join us for unforgettable itineraries blending diving, adventure, and social fun.

Picture this: By day, you’re drifting through vibrant coral gardens, eerie shipwrecks, and shark-infested playgrounds (don’t worry, they’re friendly… mostly). By night? Oh, my friends, the real fun begins! Think laughter, flirtation, and a touch of “Did that just happen?” excitement... because these aren’t your grandma’s dive trips!

We specialize in hidden gems... extraordinary dive spots that won’t drain your treasure chest. Whether it’s a luxury liveaboard, a world-class resort, or a private Airbnb takeover with an intimate twist, every trip is a one-of-a-kind experience.

So, whether you're a seasoned diver or still figuring out which way to blow bubbles, there’s a spot for you. Come solo, bring a dive buddy, or bring two if you’re feeling ambitious! Just be warned... you may leave with more than just amazing memories. You might just resurface with a whole new outlook on adventure.

Come join us... because the best dives don’t just happen underwater!

Hedonism II, Jamaica

Yes... our Hedonism trips are scuba trips too. Hugh and Judy dive during the week, usually in the morning, and certified divers traveling with us can join the dive group.

Come for Hedo, come for the diving, or do both. Non-divers are completely welcome.

Hedonism II, Jamaica

We’ll be back at Hedo in February, and the dive gear comes with us. Certified divers can join the group for morning dives before we head back to the resort.

Scuba is part of what we do at Hedonism. It is never a requirement for everyone else.

Hedonism II, Jamaica

Another Hedo week... another reason to bring fins. We plan to dive during the trip and will connect interested certified divers with the group.

Breakfast, dive boat, back to Hedo. It is a pretty good morning routine.

Hawaii & Tahiti

This is absolutely a diving trip. The itinerary gives us opportunities to dive in Hawaii and French Polynesia, including the kind of warm-water reefs, rays and sharks that make us pack dive gear halfway around the world.

Non-divers will have shore excursions and all the ship has to offer while the divers disappear underwater.

New dive adventures are being planned.

Our dated trips have wrapped up. Check back or join the email list for the next one.

Hedonism II

Every Hedo trip we host is also a scuba trip.

That needed to be much clearer on this website. We do not just happen to mention scuba when we talk about Hedonism. We actually dive while we are there.

For us, a normal Hedo dive day starts with breakfast, then the dive boat, then back to the resort. After that everyone can go back to doing whatever they came to Hedonism to do.

Not a diver? Fine. Sleep in. Enjoy the beach. Enjoy the pool. We promise not to make you look at our dive computer afterward unless you ask.

Hawaii + French Polynesia

A cruise itinerary built for divers... and everyone traveling with them.

The 2027 Norwegian Spirit trip starts in Hawaii and continues into French Polynesia. For us, that means this is more than a lifestyle cruise. It is one of the best opportunities on our calendar to combine a major trip with serious warm-water diving.

We expect diving around Hawaii and French Polynesia, with coral gardens, rays, sharks and the kind of visibility that makes people start pricing a new underwater camera before they even get home.

Maui
Kona
Hilo
Bora Bora

There are also shore excursions for non-divers, sea days, and twelve days aboard Norwegian Spirit. Nobody has to scuba to come along.

Why Travel With Us

We have the dive logs... and the photos to prove it.

🤿

We actually dive

These are not scuba trips designed by someone who only knows diving from a brochure. We plan destinations around dives we want to do ourselves.

🌴

Warm-water destinations

Caribbean reefs, tropical islands and South Pacific diving make a lot more sense to us than shivering through a vacation.

🥂

No pressure

You can dive, socialize, explore, stay in your room, or do all of the above. Your vacation does not need our permission.

💵

Value matters

We look for trips worth taking, not just expensive trips we can sell. We would rather spend the money on another vacation.

🧭

Non-divers still matter

Good destinations need something for the person who does not want to spend the morning underwater.

😂

Stories included

Some dive trips produce great logbook entries. Ours have a habit of producing stories that never make it into the logbook.

From Our Dive Archives

Different oceans. Different trips. A lot of stories.

From the Great Barrier Reef

Sometimes a photo isn't enough.

We have hundreds of dive photos on this site... and quite a few videos too. This short clip is from our Great Barrier Reef trip in March 2024. The divemaster showed us a giant clam and Judy's hand is waving over it.

Quick Answers

Scuba trip questions

Are all of your Hedonism II trips scuba trips?

Yes. Hugh and Judy dive during every Hedo trip we host. Certified divers traveling with us can join the diving. Non-divers can stay at the resort and enjoy their morning.

Do I have to dive to travel with you?

No. Scuba is optional. Plenty of people come for the destination, cruise, resort, friends or shore excursions.

Is Hawaii & Tahiti 2027 a diving trip?

Yes. We plan to dive during the Hawaii and French Polynesia itinerary. The trip also works very well for non-divers because every port has shore options.

Do I have to participate in lifestyle activities?

No. Never. These are adult, lifestyle-friendly trips, but what you do socially is entirely your decision.

How do I join the dive group on a trip?

Contact us when you book or after you join the trip. We use the trip group to connect the divers and share the dive plans as they are finalized.
